An Audiobook, And An Important Message To Subscribers

I’m sorry if this is the second email you’ve received from me this afternoon and I don’t intend to make a habit of doing this, but since today is quite an important day, on which the audiobook of Everything Will Swallow You is released, I wanted to make sure everyone knew about that. I also want to alert new subscribers (and longer term ones who didn’t realise) that the place to sign up to my newsletter is now here at my very own website, NOT on Substack. If you want to upgrade, downgrade or change your subscription in any way you will be able to do so at www.tom-cox.com by logging in using the email address you used when you originally subscribed to my work.

I reopened a Substack purely because of the unanticipated difficulties I had (and am still having) with the process of moving my subscriber list away from the site, and that I needed to let people know I hadn’t simply “vanished”. I wrote an explanation about these troubles for Substack folk here (I am still getting the problem I mentioned of some banks blocking people’s subscription payments so, if you do subscribe, please can you check yours is still going through).

My writing, however, will continue to come from www.tom-cox. There’s a bit here explaining how I now do things. Here’s today’s newsletter, which is about many things, including a standing stone I found in the middle of a pub. I hope you enjoy it.
