God this piece is magic and I just bought your book because of it .... I don’t understand how this piece could have caused a haemorrhage of subscribers- unless I’m being dense and you meant it in a positive way as I’m thinking it should result in a tsunami (positively-speaking) of subscribers. One of the most extraordinary, hypnotising and mesmerising things I’ve read for ages
What a fabulous piece. I was mesmerised by your telling of how 'Wallflower' came into being. I love your writing anyway, but sometimes it just knocks me out. This piece was one of those times. Thank you.
This made me very happy! I read and very much enjoyed Villager several weeks ago, but wished I could hear the album and see the painting, so am delighted that I can, and that they are both so evocative and perfectly suited. Thank you!
Someone else knows about Circus Maximus?! I had both LPs back in the 70s, but that was mostly because I was a Jerry Jeff Walker completist. "Wallflower" is now in my iTunes and I will be listening as I read the book.
The Making Of A Cult Classic
Hi Tom, fabulous LP and great piece on the making of it - and a fabulous friend. And new music to try - Chad & Jeremy are my next listen

Well of course I'm listening to it again now. Magical.
Feel very lucky to have managed to get a copy of the re-press of this vinyl! The backstory about it's creation was a great read!

Thanks for the album recommendation.
