The type of “owner” of rural lands is the same here. I live in. Rural area known for its equine sports and with miles of accessible land for riding. But when wealthy wannabes move in with their dreams of the American version of English country life, the result is that they discover that they want their land only for themselves and close trails because, and I quote her, “horses smell”!
Hedgehogs walk wild over the pond? Well we are no slower, Ontario has turtle crossings. There’s a sign just up the road that tells us so, if I ever meander up that way I shall capture said sign and post so that we may all be duly informed…
